West Coast pale ale style. Punchy citrus and pine-resin hop aromas declare “craft” clearly. Moderate malt, firm bitterness. ABV 5.4%.
Excellent with curry, Mexican, ethnic, grilled dishes, and blue cheese. Pairs perfectly with US West Coast fare (BBQ, pizza, sandwiches).
Serve at 8-10°C in a tulip or nonic pint. Don't over-chill — hop aromas close down. Best on draft at the Numazu taproom.
Headquartered in Numazu with taprooms in Tokyo (Nakameguro, Harajuku), Yokohama, and elsewhere. Beyond Rising Sun: Single Take Session, Wangan Ale, and seasonal releases with Japanese names.
