Sierra Nevada's tropical, juicy New England IPA — a craft veteran's serious answer to a modern style.
The veteran craft house of Sierra Nevada took the NEIPA trend seriously. Tropical, juicy, hazy.
Released 2017. The same Sierra Nevada that founded West Coast IPA pivoted to the popular New England IPA (hazy, juicy, low-bitterness) style. Quickly became a global hit.
Tropical hop aromas (mango, passionfruit, pineapple), juicy soft palate, low bitterness. ABV 6.7%, IBU 35. The opposite of Stone IPA — an IPA that wins on aroma.
Excellent with seafood, salads, fruit, light cheeses, and sushi. Better suited as a delicate accompaniment than to bold dishes like Stone IPA.
Serve at 6-8°C in a tulip or wine glass. NEIPA freshness is critical — drink as new as possible within the date.
Founded 1980 in California — independent craft veteran. Holds both the Pale Ale tradition and the Hazy Little Thing modern trend, continuously evolving.
