Founded 1996 in Sawauchi (now Nishiwaga), Iwate. An early entrant after Japan's craft deregulation. Yo-Ho Brewing now produces the line, ensuring continuation.
Wheat malt produces a fruity, gentle character. Banana and clove notes, mellow palate, light sweetness. ABV 5.0-5.5%. Slightly gentler than imported wheat beers.
Excellent with wanko soba, Morioka cold noodles, jajamen, white fish, and light seafood. Pairs with Iwate's natural bounty for the full local mood.
Serve at 8-10°C in a wheat beer glass. Combine with Iwate sightseeing and enjoy locally.
